As a collaborator, content expert, and advisor on the Ginn Group Consulting (GGC) team, Lindsey provides research, analysis, and recommendations on health care system financial infrastructure, medical provider partnership due diligence, revenue cycle projections, including pro forma budgets, and new site development and expansion. Lindsey works internally with GGC CEO, the Vice President of Information Management, and the SMART Clinical Director as well as externally with SMART Medical Provider Partners’ operations, finance, and billing and coding teams to evaluate new partnerships and manage existing relationships to improve outcomes for students and sustainability for the Model. She performs that operational fidelity to the SMART Model in concert with proper, timely, and accurate reconciliation between EHR data, eTHOS, charge reports, and revenue reports to confirm accuracy, understanding that proper data entry, billing, coding, and timely invoicing and receivables oversite are of paramount importance to the sustainability of a provider practice. This ultimately allows current SMART Clinics to continue to provide Active Access to healthcare for all students and faculty in the building, with the purpose to improve academic achievement as a priority and new SMART Clinics to be added and scaled.
Lindsey has more than a decade of experience in Data Collection and Analysis, Project Management, Health Insurance, and Operations. She has conceptualized and led both small and large-scale projects for partner organizations including implementing and developing new software systems and file feeds for data collection, integration, and analysis of health claims and risk management, implementing cost- savings ideas and strategies, specifically regarding health plan spends and high claimants, and monitoring productivity of staff in Third Party Administrator clients using data extracts. She utilizes her understanding of financial impact of health plan design when auditing claims payment data.
She works with various clients in the healthcare industry to analyze data, develop reports, implement new systems, manage projects and improve processes to benefit all involved.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Eastern Kentucky University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Information Studies from the University of Kentucky. Additionally, she holds a Life and Health Agent License, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and a Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and SHRM-SCP.
