Jenara GardnerDirector of Educational Partnerships and Philanthropy

    Jenara Gardner joined Ginn Group Consulting as Director of Educational Partnerships and Philanthropy in January 2020. She brings with her a rich background in educational and non-profit fundraising, strategic planning, and special event oversight. Jenara will accompany Dr. Yolima Moncada, Director of SMART Clinical Operations, on-site visits to existing SMART locations as well as work closely with educational institutions, funders, and community leaders to bring the SMART Student Health and Wellness Model to schools in need. Before joining Ginn Group Consulting, Gardner was Manager of Philanthropy at Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School where she witnessed firsthand how mental and physical health impacts a student’s ability to learn. When introduced to SMART, Gardner was inspired by the model’s holistic, pro-active approach and its focus on academic results. She is honored to leverage her experience in education, communications, and partnership development to support the success of SMART Clinics and their schools.

    Gardner graduated, cum laude, from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s in journalism. She lived and worked in Boston for 10 years before returning to her hometown of Philadelphia to be closer to her family.
